Ten Managed Ports for Copper-Dense Cells with Multimode Fiber
The Hirschmann BRS20-8TX/2FX (part number 942170-004) is a managed industrial Fast Ethernet switch with 10 ports. It belongs to the BOBCAT series, and its time-sensitive networking capabilities support deterministic, real-time communication. The managed feature set also gives administrators control over traffic, redundancy, security, and diagnostics.
Eight RJ45 connections support a device-dense machine or production cell, and the two fixed SC multimode ports provide fiber paths to an upstream switch or another control area.
