The Hirschmann BRS20-12TX (part number 942170-073) is a 12-port BOBCAT managed industrial Ethernet switch designed for DIN-rail automation networks. Its fanless pc-abs housing combines 12 × 10/100Base-TX RJ45 in a compact platform for connecting PLCs, controllers, HMIs, drives, remote I/O, and other Ethernet-enabled equipment.
BOBCAT switching features support deterministic communication, resilient network design, and controlled traffic flow. Time-Sensitive Networking, VLANs, Quality of Service, HIPER-Ring, MRP, RSTP, industrial protocol profiles, and extensive diagnostic tools help engineers build and maintain reliable machine and plant networks. Its standard operating range supports installations from 0°C to +60°C (32°F to 140°F).
