The Hirschmann BRS30-12TX-EEC (part number 942170-076) is a 12-port BOBCAT managed industrial Ethernet switch designed for DIN-rail automation networks. Its fanless pc-abs housing combines 8 × 10/100Base-TX RJ45 + 4 × 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 in a compact platform for connecting PLCs, controllers, HMIs, drives, remote I/O, and other Ethernet-enabled equipment.
BOBCAT switching features support deterministic communication, resilient network design, and controlled traffic flow. Time-Sensitive Networking, VLANs, Quality of Service, HIPER-Ring, MRP, RSTP, industrial protocol profiles, and extensive diagnostic tools help engineers build and maintain reliable machine and plant networks. Its extended operating range supports installations from -40°C to +70°C (-40°F to 158°F).
