Product Description
Kwikset Carson levers bring a straightforward, commercial-inspired design to residential, multifamily, and light-commercial doors. Choose the Carson passage door lever for hall and closet doors that do not need to lock, or select the privacy function for bedrooms and bathrooms. The Carson’s straight lever returns toward the door for a clean, practical profile.
Choose The Right Carson Lever Function
The 407CNL passage model is designed for hall and closet applications. For rooms that need a locking function, the 408CNL Carson privacy door lever is the bed and bath option. Both models use the same Carson lever family, making it easier to keep a consistent hardware style across doors with different privacy requirements.
This product page also offers additional Carson functions for projects that need keyed entry, storeroom, or dummy hardware. Select the function that matches how each door needs to operate rather than using the same lock function throughout the property.
Grade 3 Hardware For Residential And Light Commercial Projects
Kwikset lists the Carson passage and privacy levers as ANSI Grade 3 and ADA-compliant. The reversible lever works on either right- or left-hand doors, while the standard configuration fits doors from 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″ thick. The Carson passage door lever is part of Kwikset’s Light Commercial line and uses a metal body.
